They really look like lasius, but they spin cocoons around they’re larvae. BUT, usually queens do this to save up the silk for emergencies or they just forget

They look like lasius Niger can’t be too shure but lasius Niger is a species which should have one queen so if it is you should separate them

They could also be iridomyrmex or Lasius although lasius do tend to spin cocoons whereas these do not

I have a black ant colony with 3 workers and 1 egg lying queen but I will get a seed ant colony up to 5 or 10 workers and 1 egg lying queen at the 6 or 7 days
