I’ve color graded photos but I don’t rlly know much about stabilization. Is it like grey scalping a image to have more control of the Color/ lighting in the final image once you begin to color grade?

I feel like color grading 1 was better than 2.
2 was way too dark. Every shadow was just a big dark spot without detail. Atleast it's my tought
