Technically both are correct. Depends on localization. In japanese psi is pronounced but in english its spelled out. This is confirmed in super smash bros in palutena's guidence on ness. In japanese she says psi but in english she spells it out

I think "PSI" is actually short for "Psionics." And "PK" is "Psycho-Kenisis." That said, I also spell it out.
