After about 7 hours at Veterinary Emergency Group in Seattle WA, we found out that my boyfriend's 9 year old cat (Nori) had 5 bladder stones and one causing an obstruction. Almost $10,000 later, Nori is now recovering from his surgery and is doing very well.
My boyfriend has had his cat since he was only a few weeks old. Clearly they have a bond like no other and they don't plan on changing that any time soon. We owe a huge amount of thanks to V.E.G. and their amazing team. Nori is considered absolutely priceless to this household and although the initial cost was high, it was worth it to us both to know that he is going to continue to live a long and healthy life. We get to take him back home in the next 24-48 hours and the house just doesn't feel right without him right now 💔

P.s. in my opinion there is nothing more attractive than the love you get to see between a man and his cat.. Outside of few other circumstances of course 😉

P.p.s. yes of course I asked them to keep one of the stones for me so I could make it maybe into a piece of jewelry to commemorate this very very expensive experience 😝
