My father and I have so much fun fishing for bass in mass! We are far from excellent but we enjoy the hell out of the time together, when we went ocean fishing twice both times all we did was catch crabs “with them eating our bait and holding onto the hook lol.” And we also fed seagulls who stole half the bait haha. We still enjoyed it and it was a good memory but ocean fishing is a total different beast I think I got one big bite but it could have been a rock or something lol

Well sh*t. Im about to take a spontaneous Florida fishing trip this weekend now. Setting small hooks with big cut bait and relaxing all day sounds nice. If you get a heavy weight or pyramid Sinker and rig it close to the bottom, the stingrays will bote a lot.

I know the tube is a joke but i wouldn’t do it with a fishing rod because if you need to get off there’s a chance of stingrays or crabs being under you

I think if you can wade out deep enough to get the bait into at least the second break you’d have a shot 👍 just gotta make sure the weight is heavy enough to keep the bait dow
