I feel like more businesses need to know this--not just the questions, but also that if the "service dog" is being disruptive, you CAN ask them to leave. So many businesses have had bad experiences with dogs people say are service dogs causing commotion and it can prompt them to deny access to service dogs.

Also, small PSA that some service dogs do bark as a part of their tasks. This is sometimes done to alert others that their owner is having a medical crisis. But if the owner is standing, talking, alert, and their dog is barking or if it is ever lunging or jumping at people other than their handler (jumping and placing front paws on their handler can be another type of alert) you can and should ask them to leave. That is either, not a real service dog or one that needs more training before being in public spaces.

As an SD handler THANK YOU! I see so much content about "fake" SDs and it irks me so much because most people posting those have no clue about there being no certifying agency for SDs and just paid for a certificate scam online, and call other handlers fake.
As someone who's had to have a friend intervene due to heightened stress levels when someone tried to call my SD fake sending me into a panic attack, you're doing a service to all of us. Thanks again!

Me and my grandma got kicked out of a movie theater because she had her service dog who helps her with her PTSD and reminds her to take her meds.

I want this video to get to more people!! I don't have a service animal but I was talking to my cousin and she thinks it's perfectly legal and okay for a student to be told she can't use a service animal at school in a public school, she even Said it was okay to tell a student she shouldn't use a white cane in school and be completely dependent instead, FYI these were news things I was apoled by being visualy impared and scared of this happening for me, but she thought it was okay, we havnt talked about it in a year but I didn't change her mind.

I love hearing about service dogs and how they help people around here. People bring pets everywhere so most people with service dogs donāt even get questions because thereās 1 million people with just pets. I will ask if I see the vest if itās a service dog just because I want to know, how they help you because there are so many different things that service dogs can do and I just like hearing about Service dogs not because Iām questioning the owners disability. Iām questioning the dog how amazing it is. They are all so amazing.
