A movie would not work. Make it a anime or cartoon show. Have each season cover a game and have the seasons because of that vary in episode length.

Videogame movies tend to suck super hard though because they fail to capture the feeling of the games. I wouldn't trust anyone to make a videogame movie without complete control given to the games creators.

A movie or show based on the games wouldn't work especially with Disney's streak of flops, not to mention the series is complex enough, and knowing Disney/Hollywood they will definitely change certain parts of the story making it far more confusing than it already is

When Kingdom hearts came out I could see it as a live action movie sora, riku and kairi in live action the same for organization 13 live action but Donald goofy and the heartless and no bodies as cgi if we get DIZ Namine’ and any live action actors that would be great. Even if we get terra aqua and ventus even vanitus, master erriqus and even xion those would be good for live action actors.
The CGI for heartless, nobodies and unversed is going to push CGI to its limits.
That was my thoughts when playing it on PS2 back in the day but with CGI nowadays a kingdom hearts live action with CGI heartless, nobodies and unversed will be great
