Poseidon, known as Neptune in Roman mythology, is the powerful god of the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. One of the Twelve Olympian gods, he is the brother of Zeus and Hades, ruling over the seas while Zeus governs the sky and Hades the underworld.
