Guy from Saskatchewan here (Saskatoon area) with a bit of a background in linguistics.
'Rout' is pronounced [ɹɞʊt] here (in both rural and urban areas), which probably arose from the raising of an original [ɹaʊt] pronunciation (as is used in many other English dialects outside of North America).
And yeah, 'Saskatchewan' is universally pronounced as [sə.skæ.t͡ʃə.wən] in the province. I've heard urban speakers from Alberta pronounce it as [sə.skæ.t͡ʃə.wɑːn] though.

I’m not rural but I’m from the prairies and from what I’ve seen:
Most say route as r-ow-t, only time I hear ‘root’ is when referring to specific roads (e.g. route-90)
Only ever heard pekawn maybe once or twice, generally people say pea-can
Saskatchewan pronunciations like a 50/50, just depends on how fast you talk 😂
Additionally I hear so many people around here pronounce coyote as ky-oat instead of ky-oat-e
