When you sew, what #needles do you use to sew sequin fabric, and you sew right through the sequins? A similar project.

There are also 'non-woven' interfacings.

When iron on, do not use samo motion as you would iron garments. Just pres on.

Pamela Ermy on her website suggests ironing the entirety of the fabric onto the interfacing before cutting the pattern pieces. She said it stabilizes the fabric for cutting, making for a more precise cut, reduces cutting time because you're not cutting each piece twice, and actually makes a better adhesion & fit between the two materials. 😊
