As a man who's very introverted this is quite difficult for me. I find social interactions draining, not nurturing. I am a Christian, but I also believe that we are quite superficial. We talk, even in church about pedantic babble. No substance or very little.

I just figure being on my own for 13 years with 0 friends and no partner amd living week to week stressing about bills is what god wanted for me. If not it wouldnt hapoen after all everything is his will right?

Hey Strax - I love your perspective. You’re right on. Social interaction meets needs or not, differently for all people.
I think at the end of the day though it’s absolutely necessary that we put our selves in those situations at all costs as a builder of our internal acceptance of our need for interaction.
I agree with your assessment of the shallow rhetoric of most conversations. But I also firmly stand on knowing hat’s why we need to be in a small group.
Deep conversations are what men ultimately want, but frequently avoid putting themselves in the place to allow them to happen.
Please consider being the one that goes deeper in a conversation. Lead in that way. Maybe it will leverage you knowing that that’s what people want anyway. Especially men.
