My brother. He raised me all while paralyzed waste down and in a wheelchair. He was amazing for me and my life. I’d be nothing had he not stepped..sorry.. correction…rolled into my life when everyone else left!! 😂. I owe who I am to him and can’t wait to see him again one day. RIP Tim Frady. 4 others ended up in a wheelchair after that night when she rolled into the pit. So at the next show there then 5 people in wheelchairs who proceeded to the stage and rolled into the crowd. The show following that their were then 20 people in wheelchairs who proceeded to the stage to wheel into the crowd. When the 80 people in wheelchairs arrived at the show following that everybody knew shit was about to get crazy.... By the end of that tour this bands fans would be collectively known as THE PARALEGIANCE, in recognition of the allegiance of paraplegic fans so dedicated to their favorite band.

I was in a pit at a Ministry show with a dude in a wheelchair taking elbows and giving out broken toes. It was amazing.

This clip reminds me of a wheelchair bound dude I only met once here in my hometown. The guy was a gem and beloved by everyone in the scene but he unfortunately passed away quite early in his life. The only time I talked to him was my first hardcore show and he was the most wonderful person, very inviting and awesome person. Made the first show I went to amazing! Regret that I never got to know him very well but clips like these are always so inspiring. Always makes me feel warm that despite all the gatekeepers, critics, and bigots in the scene there's still so much kindness! Love hc, keep uploading this stuff sunny!

In the paris hardcore scene, in the early 2000's we had a guy who was a diehard fan of hardcore, a black guy on wheelchair. The bands would put him on the side of the stage so that he wouldn't miss a thing. He even wrote lyrics for songs.

I remember seeing this at a punk rock show about 12 years ago in KY. A girl named nubs (she had no arms or legs) was crowd surfing in her wheelchair. The band (nofx) even wrote a song for her called she's nubs.
