If you want to experience more happiness, please watch this. The problem with happiness is that it can feel fleeting. But this is good to remember, because when we get into a lot of pain it feels like it will never end. The beautiful thing about pain, though, is that while it can feel overwhelming and intense, it offers so much wisdom and insight (aka: information!) if we will just allow it to grab our attention.

Just like happiness, though, pain has a shelf life, and this urgency to take action, to make changes will not last. If you are in pain today, try to take some time, even though it may be challenging, to try to see what message or messages is there for you. What changes or actions are you feeling pulled to make? What has this time finally called for? What do you need to do to overcome this experience, grow, and move forward?

See if it is possible to allow your pain to open the door for you for new insights, questions, and behaviors. This urgency to move and make changes is a gift, even though it probably doesn't feel like it at the time. But don't pause or wait too long. Before you know it, the pain will fade and things will naturally seem better and, maybe ever improve, but before you know it, the pain will be back, bringing more information. Don't wait for that to happen...pay attention now.
