Sadly I think the trend of sequels and remakes will continue until a movie company is brave enough to start a whole new IP that people actually like. Like a new MCU of sorts. I'm just waiting for that to happen 😌

I agree with this; I've been noticing more un-needed sequels. I do think they actually did Fantastic Beasts pretty well, though! For something that was a movie first and not a book adaptation, it has loveable characters, beautiful visuals, and really cool tie-ins like Albus's relationship with Gellert, or the reference to Nagini giving us some fascinating lore for her!!
