I actually work in sales for one of the food service companies. I appreciate all the drivers. I make sure to send praise to their supervisors . Keep it up bro.

What sucks is they don't give you a helper. They can afford to give you two helpers even if just minimum wage. I think if you want to be a driver at Sysco and other places like that you should have to be a driver's helper first before you can get hired for three months. This will help you get familiar with learning the products, the stores and best way to deliver also help the driver out also. I think if you want to work in the warehouse you should have to be a driver's helper for that amount of time also. This would show you how you can make the drivers job easier or harder. They also need to get rid of the point quota system. This in itself Burns people out. The fact that they do none of these things shows you how much money they make and could care less. The reason they don't change anything is because they know when people strike there's only a matter of time before they are going to need to come back for a job and if nothing else they know that they can hire cheap labor if a strike goes on long.

I’ve been driving for 10 years and grocery delivery driver job like Sysco, PFG, Gordon and others are hands down the hardest trucking jobs to do…. They should honestly make those jobs guaranteed 100,000 a year

I made so much money at Sysco that I quit lol shit was way too hard. Even tho the money was good the amount of work wasn’t worth it.

I currently drive for Budweiser right now, they could pay more but i love the fact we're done before 1pm everyday
by the time we're done we still have the entire day to ourselves and when i say "we"

Beverages brings more life at home balance and orders are typically seperate, food your digging through pallets and doing 14 hour days but it’s really on the persons preference
