I have the Takumi Sen8 and LOVE the shoe, but have the same concerns about the upper. It looks like Adidas is going to put the Strung upper on the Takumi, and maybe the Adios Pro? GAME CHANGER!

The upper really works for me. I’ve seen loads of reviews questioning the upper but it works for me. Just did a pb in a marathon 2 weeks ago. Didn’t have to think about my footstrike at all - fantastic marathon shoe. Good luck!
