Bro 😢 those were powerchords - if you'd played barre chords (in the general beginner guitar sense e.g learning to play F major by barring over multiple strings and playing an E shape) then we should have heard more strings ringing and would also expect to hear some maj/min 3rd interval

Your a beginner so take some of my advice when starting out. When I was a beginner when I tried to learn to play fast I neglected my alternate picking and just basically played legato exclusively because it makes you feel really cool and like you can play fast, but in reality it stunts you ability to really play fast. So please really practice that and don’t neglect it

Bro straight up when i first atarted playing when i was 12 i had a guy in my year who was way better than me and he could do a few shredding licks and at the time i thought i was like incredible but looking back at his old videos it was so sloppy and beginninery its so funny how your perspective changed when you get better
