You can befriend them but they will only cuddle with you if you literally force them (which would make them not trust you again) they will watch you or sit on your pillow while you sleep and sometimes they might jump on the couch asking (begging) for pets if youโre just chilling or having a conversation on the phone
Anyway my conclusion is to get a rescue cat
It helps them get a home and you get your space โจPerfectโจ
