Drago actually got his bewilderbeast after hiccup rode his dragon, val got her bewilderbeast after hiccup rode his dragon, but that doesn't mean Val didn't ride her dragon before hiccup because we won't know, we don't about Grimmel because he was introduced into the third movie

Well technically if we're being realistic Walker was actually the first person to fly and tame a dragon they say hiccup was the first cuz he was the first one that we seen to tame and ride a dragon but really vodka was the first one cuz she tamed cloud jumper first making her the first person to ride and tame a dragon
