Lol. Arnold didn't look NEARLY as good at Mentzer..and Arnold bought up almost all of the live footage from the event so others years later didn't see the B.S. that unfolded. Arnold's pal's were on the judge panel and placed Mike low in the competition to belittle him. Arnold is a complete ass. Hard to win when his buddies are judges. 🤷♂

Actually some of the other athletes on stage had better overall muscle separation, better muscle definition, and better muscle fibre visible detail due to better conditioning.
The contest was rigged.
Between 1975 and 1979 Arnold was actually a
Co promoter of the show and all the judges were his friends.
Arnold didn't even hit some of the mandatory poses on stage.
He had more mass in his upper torso though.
The other athletes were all slightly smaller.
But they had much better overall muscle separation in their physiques.
Mike Mentzer did not have as much mass in his upper torso as ARNOLD - but he had much better overall muscle separation in his physique.
Basically, Mentzer should have crushed Arnold.
The other athletes were all great too.
THE CONTEST WAS RIGGED.
