Gohan black could have potentially been the best written antagonist in all of dragon ball. Everything he went through let him believe in Goku black's cause because he has seen first hand what mortals do to their worlds. None of his allies that could have kept him good natured reached out to him from other world. So if Zamsu showed up one day and destroyed the androids leading Gohan to pledge his loyalty to the only being that ever helped him..... yeah I can see that.But then you have trunks who is completely right the gods abandoned earth well the whole universe and left it to ruin. Beerus is always asleep(and when he isn't he's always disinterested in maintaining his universe )the supreme Kai never showed up until the threat of Buu arrived and even king Kai turned a blind eye to the future timeline struggles. Really wish I could see this story fleshed out.
