I just did the exact same thing to a international work-star about 2 weeks ago but I had to replace both u joints idk why for the life of me they wouldn’t just spend a little more money and order the whole assembly but yeah I had the fun task of beating both of those u joints out and pressing the new ones in.

Are you able to replace the U-joints on the international trucks or do you have to replace the steering shaft? I can't remember now which truck it was, but one truck i worked on you had to replace the whole thing because they pinned the U-joints in the steering shaft.
