It's not the engines that are causing the glitches, it's the computer modules not communicating with each other. With added technology comes added modules. All engineering issues. Carlos fired all the legacy engineers and hires. A lot of newly graduated from overseas.

It’s garbage, we got rid of our wagoneer after only 14k miles on it. We had 6 check engine lights, ranging from cylinder misfires to cat codes for the first 4, after that the vehicle was deleting them along with the transmission beginning to slip. We were refused a buyback and dealing with a Lemon is just too time consuming. Stellantis has ruined Mopar, their quality is trash, and vehicle owners are givin the shaft constantly.

I don’t trust any new engine from any manufacturer. Toyota is having issues, Ford had their issues with the 3.5, GM with the 5.3. For a daily driver, o like buying the cars everyone calls “old”. Because the manufacturer had 5-10 years to figure it out.

This engine will be the death to Dodge and Ram across all vehicles.

I wonder if they miss their fired engineers yet?

Where there's smoke, something is about to get Hot. Stellantis, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram and Carlos Taveres are all on borrowed time. Firing, layoffs and more layoffs coming next month. Even the janitors are getting out of dodge before the jig is up. Product sucks since stellantis take over.

I think the specs on the hurricane look pretty good honestly. Probably better performance than the hemi’s for a lot of customers. Won’t be the first to buy one though haha

I drove a brand new Wagoneer off the lot with this engine. It blew up around the corner.

No they won't be. They'll be great and there have no issues with the motors.

To call anything FCA put out more reliable is like saying a K car is setting the standard. That bar is below the floor

Jesus how hard is it to fuck up the engineering of an inline 6? For godsake, ford make the same layout engine for over 30 years and while it was gutless, it was absolutely bulletproof.

It was a recipe for disaster, the only thing keeping them alive was the v8 and now their trying to step into an area that BMW has pretty much perfected with the B58
