Let everyone play through in front. Throw your new disc after every normal throw. I did just loose a star thunderbird ive been playing with for probably 5 or 6 years and it was my best disc ever. Im still really broken up about it honestly lol

Best way I have quickly beat in a very overstable Defender was I worked the edges of the disc like working in a baseball glove, did that all day and when I went to the course that evening it had very noticeable changed it’s flight.

I'm still preferential to just putting boiling water in a pan big enough for your disc and let it sit for 5 minutes pull it out and roll the edges down softly. You'll make it a little less over stable and you won't have a damaged edge on your disc.

Or.. you know.. just have a flippy driver and use the destroyer for what it is. Although I will say that I do love my 5 year old destroyer. Flips up nice and really great for forehands too.

Is this not illegal under 813.01.C.1 (Other modifications to a disc after production make the disc illegal, including but not limited to:
Modifying the disc in a way that alters its original flight characteristics) since this isn’t wear and tear “during play” as allowed by the rules? Not saying I haven’t beat in a disc like this before, but I do think it’s illegal

This is hilarious!😂 Always makes me wonder why people don't just buy a flippier disc 😂 maybe understand flight numbers by the right disc. You don't have to hit them against the wall 😂

Just put it in the dryer medium heat with a bunch of towels for 10 minutes. Then roll the disc down with your hands evenly on all sides for a minute or 2. Let it rest on a flat surface. Repeat till understability is achieved.

lol at everyone not understanding the need for a flippy destroyer. Seasoned destroyers go in the bag with your other more stable destroyers. Wraith also in the bag. You don’t need a flippier driver you need a flippy copy of the mold you already throw.
I hope all of the commenters are new to the sport cause this is basic stuff.

These comments are hilarious. Yes do that. Beat in destroyer is money. Also a 2x4 on the rim while spinning it on concrete is how I do it now. Also grinding the bottom some on cement.
There should be a modified disc league.
