The Enabler Relationship Personality type is a tricky one because it feels like your behavior is just you trying to be loving/a good wife and mother. It might look like:

✅ You take on the vast majority of the responsibility for managing the house and the kids and your partner seems to have a lot more free time or time to do what they want. It feels like you have no options.
✅ You walk on eggshells around your partner to avoid upsetting them or doing something they will criticize you for.
✅ You’ve been called type A or a “People Pleaser”.
✅ You don’t get mad often, but when you do, it can be huge.
✅ You want to be alone when you feel disregulated
✅ A current or past partner has cheated on you or betrayed you.

✅ Bonus points if your partner or one of your parents struggled with an addiction.

This Personality type attracts to herself a partner who is often quite self-centered, critical and can struggle with honesty and empathy (although might also seem very emotional).

If you see yourself here, the best thing to do is step into an energy of self-worth (this is different than self esteem), confidence and take up space. Boundary setting is a must to add to your skill set.
