I went through something that without the Holy Ghost’s comfort and healing I would have been a bitter and angry person. When this person hurt me, hurt my trust, I went into my prayer room and God told me to forgive and remember. I said “ forgive and remember!!” He said yes!! You mean I don’t forgive and forget? He said forgive and remember… not to throw it back to the offender but so you know where you are at in your healing. He told me He was my physician and every time I remembered and it brought up bitterness in my heart to come back to Him. He would dress my wounds with His love and mercy and if I had to come back 1,000 times in a day it was ok. He said it doesn’t matter how many times just keep coming back until it’s only a scar. It took me many times going back to Him with the hurt and pain and one day it was just a battle scar. No more pain and now I can help others who are going through what I went through with out any bitterness in my heart. Jesus is our physician and He will mend our broken hearts and bottle our tears and fix what is broken. Don’t let the devil allow a root of bitterness to spring up in your heart for it will defile you. Go to Jesus and I promise you He will mend what ever has broken your heart.
