Zero responsibility for what Ukraine has done in the first place. Hold up your end of the deal and this wouldnt have been a thing. No nato.

Putin has REFUSED TO NEGOTIATE! Elad, youā€™ve got to already know that we donā€™t negotiate with terrorists. Itā€™s just something we donā€™t do in the USA. Thanks šŸ™

If ukranians wanted to negotiate then go for it. All the best.

I personally would not want them to negotiate if its a war they can win for 2 reasons.

1. I mean, Russia be doing the most. Striking malls with civilians in them. Torturing civilians etc.. i can't be mad at a country that says they willing to fight to the last man over that type of stuff. If a country invaded us and was striking places with regular ppl in em rape torture i would only HOPE that every military aged male joined the fight and we fought to the very last man.

2. A Russian defeat is good for America. It pretty much cements that Russias threat is much lower than we (not me) thought. And would allow us to take resources from Europe and apply them in asia. China was just saying there would be counter measures if pelosi went to Taiwan and they would shoot down any fighter jets traveling with her.

It would put Russia in a place without leverage and allow us to take advantage of that.

Russia's population is supposedly a huge concern. After their current population dies out they will have significant less fighting age men. This is pretty much the only time Russia can attempt to take some territory within the next couple centuries or more. If they take territory that will only give them more bodies and its obvious the Russian plan isn't to stop in ukraine. So a defeat knocks that notion of being possible.

A Russian defeat over time would probably ease tension with America bc there won't be this ego battle of who is stronger and the 2 countries can probably start to have more productive deals together such as space travel etc.

Russia is historically an enemy of ours and to see them lose will feel good. That's completely emotional but true for me and many Americans.

Russia's defeat. Loss of leverage. And loss of business with European countries would probably leave holes for America to take advantage of and make some money.

Russias Loss would probably cement ukraine as a western leaning country. And we would have influence over them. Allowing us to stop Russia from undermining us in the region.

A Russian loss would not embolden China who is the real second power. If Russia is allowed to negotiate and actually lay claim to almost 20% of Ukraine we may as well gear up for china's invasion of Taiwan. Sometimes it's about setting precedent.

Being American i believe in freedom. Russia is a dictatorship. Who uses immense propaganda against their own civilians. Blatantly lying at every turn. I simply would not want to set precedent. That countries like this can bully smaller countries and get even 1% of what they want by these means. I hope that in the end of this war Russia doesn't even have the 2014 territories of ukraine.

But again, if ukraine wants to negotiate who am i to tell them to keep dying for something they don't wanna die for.

So i support them either way. If they want to keep fighting i say send em more. If they wanna negotiate i say do what we can to ensure the negotiations are fair.

I haven't yet figured how this could be possible. But the ultimate defeat of Russia is not just them losing 2014 Ukraine territory.

Its that their civilians lose confidence in the government and revolt. Demanding to be part of a democracy. Russia having lost its ability to wage war through man power and equipment loss. A trashed economy due to sanctions and spending on the war.

And most of all i think.. so far on the Russian side they've used mainly soldiers from the rural areas or who are not ethnically Russian. Barely anybody from Moscow has been sent to the war. I believe if ukraine holds out and Russia is forced to send the sons of the ppl who consume within their economy.

Right now it's like if America only sent soldiers from our smallest in population and smallest in economics states. So yeah those 40k can be casualties. But we rack up 40kn casualties from our population/economic hubs.. the sentiment changes. Once ppl in Texas California be 6 York Florida etc kids start dying if the war is not truly popular amongst the population we'll see that. Right now the war is only touching mainland Russians by way of prices for goods.
