If i was miyazaki, it'd be hard to put any faith in the current sony. They have a lot of fixing and cleaning up to do before they think about ruining fromsoft. Bloodborne has been left in the dust forever when everyone is begging for it to get some attention. Sony would not have the fans in mind the way miyazaki and his team do, so unless he's given 100% freedom i dont see him going for it

Me personally I feel like I was Miuzaki I'd rather just quit then then be forced to ruin my perfect game, I mean sure the IP would be gone but he has said he wants to do smaller things so I'm sure he could go to another studio, granted there's other people involved but as far as he goes that's the best idea I've got

Sony will just force Miyazaki to make sequels to games heâs done with. Dark Souls 4 will happen with Sony. Which ruins everything that Dark Souls 3 was about.
Miyazaki has nothing more to add to Demonâs Souls, he said as much to BluePoint when they were making the remake.
But Bloodborne I do think heâd love to do. But outside of that, he said heâs taking a break from Elden Ring also.
Him being in the kitchen is not the problem, the problem is the passion is gone when he doesnât have creative choice. His games lose their soul when heâs forced to make a game he doesnât want to.
Hence why Iâm especially tense with Sony buying out FromSoft. They only care about money and they will run FromSoft into the ground. Itâs almost inevitable if the buyout happens.
Plus whatâs to stop them from making any future games under FromSoft exclusive to their PlayStation Pro??? Thatâs more than likely the reason they want to acquire FromSoft. They realize they made a mistake to cast out Miyazaki when he made Demonâs Souls so they collaborated with him to make Bloodborne. But now they have a chance to own his work. Utterly disgusting.
I just hope that if this actually begins to happen, Microsoft will just outbid Sony. It wouldnât be a monopoly since Microsoft doesnât have much of an anime department and they wouldnât have an issue outbidding Sony.
The best Sony can offer I think would be like $3 Billion. Microsoft would outbid them with $10 billion and they would.
Best case scenario is Microsoft outbids Sony. At least Microsoft wouldnât make FromSoft games exclusive and force consumers to buy a certain console to make play their games. At least they arenât as greedy and out of touch as Sony is.

There is no 'good' to come from sony acquiring fromsoftware. Sony has shown time and time again that they are not only out of touch with their consumers and the internet as a whole they have shown they sometimes even just outright despise and mock their consumers thinking people are just mindless zombies that will mass purchase whatever slop they pump out. Like i've said before, they'll prpbably do 1 of 3 things:
Try to make it a live service(they have shown to be that out of touch)
Literally just do nothing with it
Or end up getting the studio shut down completley

This is why I'm hoping with the general success of black ops 6, that the return on investment will allow xbox studios to make original ips and actually keep them up. Like I get it, xbox you're not up for keeping up with risk even if you're making smaller ips.
Make those smaller ips because the best games are those with cult followings.
But, they also need to seriously restructure. High fi rush devs didn't need to be cut, because xbox bought Bethesda, it seems like Bethesda was gonna do it anyway because of how their main titles been failing.
That's on Bethesda. That shouldn't be a thing.
But at this point, we can't even feel the success of these titles and it sucks just a Lil.

I wouldn't trust Sony with anything after the financial catastrophe that was Concord. Sony having any sway over Miyazaki and the devs at fromsoft would only spell disaster for my most beloved franchise
