I'm not a maid currently, but I was at one point and I appreciated clients like you. It just shows basic decency and respect for us as people. Many perfectly capable clients would leave doodoo smears on the outside of the toilet, dirty diapers just on the floor, cat poop in their beds that they'd slept on top of, etc. It wasn't depression, they just didn't care if we saw it, because they didn't see us as human. We were just "the help" so who cared if our jobs were made harder or that we saw how they actually behaved behind closed doors? I wasn't a maid for long, but in that time, I learned more about life and people in general than at most any other job.

Wait why do you clean up if the cleaners are coming? In so confused I get making it tidy with the clothes but why everything else??

Omg THANK YOU for putting this out there. So many people think we are cleaners, organizers, horde removers. We come to clean, not to tidy. (We can, but it’s extra. lol)
