I am a fierce protector of my babies.. I have never minded anyone touching my baby belly. It is mostly older women or people that get joy from babies and the excitement of the beautiful blessing within. I don't think I ever experienced anyone being weird about it. Children are a blessing and each person that touched my tummy was relating to that joy. ā¤ It's okay to not like it, I don't understand why women are unkind about it though...

My husband and I been trying to conceive for over 10 years. I think Iāll be the opposite. I would want everyone feeling my baby bump and be so proud of it because we been wanting a baby for so long. š I would be so overly excited!! š¤ God bless your new little family. Youāre so blesse

I'm interested as to why it's problematic on a spiritual level for people to touch the baby bump. I get that it's personal space and stuff and personal preference and that's totally fine but I always found it really sweet and endearing (personally) for people to spread their love and enthusiasm to both me and my baby. I would never have thought to consider it a [spiritual] invasion

You barely have a bump Brittany. Who are these ppl touching you? Iām so happy youāre living in an answered prayer, motherhood is an amazing blessingāperhaps you could continue to focus your content on that. You prayed too hard and too long to get here, just to come online complaining about things like this. Anyone who does try to express joy for you by touching you, can swiftly and politely be corrected. I promise they wonāt be so quick to do it again.

It is one of the few sweet things in our culture. People are excited about your baby and are expressing joy. I would offer my bump to others. Now givng KISSES on the hands and face to the baby once she's out, we had to say no even though that is a natural reflex of joy too. Anywhere the baby can touch and bring to her mouth, eyes or nose is a NO. Family can touch her feet and the back of the head.

Before I got pregnant, I used to see all these women online complaining about their bumps being touched. Sometimes I do wonder if these influencers like to post videos about whatever is trending at the moment... Touching a pregnant woman's bump is not 'weird' at all as you say. It is the most common thing you see all around the world š
Specially when you've had such a tough journey to get to where you are and people feel genuinely happy for you. Not everything needs to become a problem. Get out there and live life a little in the real world

Iām 27 and havenāt been able to have a baby, and Iām guilty of asking women if I can feel their baby kick (if theyāre actually doing it at the time lol). Idk why, itās just really special to me and I hope I get to experience that one day. But I DO always ask, I never just go touch someone š

Iām sorry, but this just come off like you need content. You are sharing with the world and then have to complain about something to get attention. Youād complain if no one acknowledged your pregnancyā¦.Just comes off like you are never content/happy. Sit down, be humble, be normal. People have different ways of showing happiness for youā¦. You donāt have to take everything so sinister/negative.

I agree! They should ask before they touch!
