I agree! They should ask before they touch!

I am a fierce protector of my babies.. I have never minded anyone touching my baby belly. It is mostly older women or people that get joy from babies and the excitement of the beautiful blessing within. I don't think I ever experienced anyone being weird about it. Children are a blessing and each person that touched my tummy was relating to that joy. ā¤ It's okay to not like it, I don't understand why women are unkind about it though...

Ok whatā€™s so weird to me is that people basically never touched my bump!!! Legit every time I hear people say this online Iā€™m like ā€œwho are these people?!?! No one EVER did that to me!!!ā€ lol wild

Maybe some of these people felt a sense of closeness to you while they were also standing on behalf of you in prayer for you to conceive. Itā€™s okay to remain humble before God and man.

My husband and I been trying to conceive for over 10 years. I think Iā€™ll be the opposite. I would want everyone feeling my baby bump and be so proud of it because we been wanting a baby for so long. šŸ˜ I would be so overly excited!! šŸ¤ God bless your new little family. Youā€™re so blesse

Babies are such a blessing and miracle from God and they are just drawn and excited for you.
Asking permission is good though. šŸ„°

It's an expression of excitement for a lot of people to reach out & touch your belly šŸ©· It's just how some people are... Obviously, it's strange for a stranger to do it, but it's just an action of endearment for people who know you...
God bless

I'm interested as to why it's problematic on a spiritual level for people to touch the baby bump. I get that it's personal space and stuff and personal preference and that's totally fine but I always found it really sweet and endearing (personally) for people to spread their love and enthusiasm to both me and my baby. I would never have thought to consider it a [spiritual] invasion

I believe it's a blessing to have someone touch you while pregnant. I never had a stranger do it, but close friends and family, I welcomed it ā¤

You barely have a bump Brittany. Who are these ppl touching you? Iā€™m so happy youā€™re living in an answered prayer, motherhood is an amazing blessingā€”perhaps you could continue to focus your content on that. You prayed too hard and too long to get here, just to come online complaining about things like this. Anyone who does try to express joy for you by touching you, can swiftly and politely be corrected. I promise they wonā€™t be so quick to do it again.

I liked it. Felt like they were acknowledging my baby and being loving. But to each their own!

Theyā€™re just tryna show love, they donā€™t mean any harm!!

Undoubtedly, many people prayed for you to be blessed with a child , Brittney. It may be good to be understanding towards those who are very excited for you as they know their prayers were answered... just sayin.

Maybe it's because your life is completely out there already. People think you're okay with it:/

It is one of the few sweet things in our culture. People are excited about your baby and are expressing joy. I would offer my bump to others. Now givng KISSES on the hands and face to the baby once she's out, we had to say no even though that is a natural reflex of joy too. Anywhere the baby can touch and bring to her mouth, eyes or nose is a NO. Family can touch her feet and the back of the head.

I do agree with the laying hands but come on girl you know some people do it out of love and Iā€™m pretty sure itā€™s not about laying hands. Just use your discernment on who you allow in your circle. Simple as that

Before I got pregnant, I used to see all these women online complaining about their bumps being touched. Sometimes I do wonder if these influencers like to post videos about whatever is trending at the moment... Touching a pregnant woman's bump is not 'weird' at all as you say. It is the most common thing you see all around the world šŸ˜… Specially when you've had such a tough journey to get to where you are and people feel genuinely happy for you. Not everything needs to become a problem. Get out there and live life a little in the real world

Hi, I was pregnant with twins, and you think people walk around asking to touch your bump... ah honey, no they don't!! I think you need to chill a bit, and Pregnancy is NOT SUPERNATURAL!! It's a gift from the Lord. All the best with your pregnancy.

Iā€™m 27 and havenā€™t been able to have a baby, and Iā€™m guilty of asking women if I can feel their baby kick (if theyā€™re actually doing it at the time lol). Idk why, itā€™s just really special to me and I hope I get to experience that one day. But I DO always ask, I never just go touch someone šŸ˜

Iā€™m sorry, but this just come off like you need content. You are sharing with the world and then have to complain about something to get attention. Youā€™d complain if no one acknowledged your pregnancyā€¦.Just comes off like you are never content/happy. Sit down, be humble, be normal. People have different ways of showing happiness for youā€¦. You donā€™t have to take everything so sinister/negative.
