I kept getting moved back and forth between gifted and regular. End up graduating high school one year early in 11th somehow despite them talking about moving me to a โspecialโ school in 10th grade.

My older sister was the smart straight-A student (without trying too hard). I always thought I wasn't capable because I wasn't into competing with her. I was the straight D student being passed through without learning any good study skills. Could always read and spell seemingly without studying. If I could have used those skills for studying ...I could've been a contender... . I am always full of "deep thoughts" and studying people instead of book learning. ADHD on top of being an introvert. Tough.

Yes, I couldnt figure out why I could often test well but i could not do homework. Never knew how to start. I got mostly D's in school. I even received a D once for writing an essay at too 'high' of a grade level, and once for not knowing what i wanted to be as an adult. Failed J sciences yet accidently got placed in Molecular Biology first year into high school and aced it. ( which was a new college level class )
I ended up dropping out 5 wks into 11th grade and got my GED on my first try.
I consider myself fairly smart. I have a vast array of knowledge, yet ive been fired from every job. Usually for Not learning fast enough. Now im a single mom of 3, am coming off the welfare system and am scared to death of a 'regular' job. I havnt worked a regular job in 7 yrs. I gotta find something that works, and fast. Lol. I desperately want to meditate. But someow if it doesnt go smoothly i have to keep starting over, or blinking my eyes until they 'feel right'. I also have lots of itches and twitches... does anybody else experience that?
