Terrible loss for Hard Rock today. Very underrated band CJ Snare underrated vocalist and songwriter. Great songs great albums. Hey Brandon how about an album ranking order for Firehouse? Reach for the sky CJ rest in peace 🔥

I was able to enjoy his beautiful music in RokIsland Rock Fest in Key West in 2021. I went with my son who was 17 at the time and it is a moment that we will never forget.
Then I saw them again in Puerto Rico in 2022 and my wife and I danced in the rain next to the stage ! Unforgettable !

First saw him with Maxx Warrior (as Carl Snarl) in 1982 at the gone, but not forgotten Castaways in Myrtle Beach, SC. One of the very best club bands I’ve ever seen. You knew then he was destined for stardom.
MW released one EP in 1985, which took me several years to find. Harder edged than FireHouse.
In 1992, I reviewed FireHouse (opening for Tesla) for The Pittsburgh Press.
1993-94 or so, they were on a multi-bill show I reviewed for The Post-Gazette which CJ cut short due to what he said were problems with his voice — which sounded as great as always. Not sure what happened.
Another FireHouse gig in Ohio, the band came out and spoke to everyone, Very nice, gracious.
Saw him again with Scrap Metal in Nashville about 2004. Fantastic as always.
