I wonder if someone in their 80's would care to be friends with someone like me. I'm 28 but my dad died years ago and i've been having a hard time maintaining friendships because it seems like my generation, myself included, has a hard time remembering that digital interactions are not a substitute for human connections. I don't always need my boyfriend or my coworkers when i'm feeling lost. sometimes i just want to hang out with someone who's been through the same things as i have and has managed to see their way through it.
