The Lord suffered in depths that I don't believe any of us could ever fathom...His mental and spiritual agonies are so unbelievably beyond our comprehension. I believe the point being is that for all mankind we must never stop in our pursuit of His most perfect example of mercy and love and humility. No one can ever possibly surpass the Teacher, but we are commanded to run in His ways
