I’ve never worn one of these because of the reasons you and many others have said they were used for. I wear a hammer on a necklace but I was thinking about getting one of these as a way to show my loyalty to the Æsir. Like you talked about in other videos, it can be a lonely religion. But like Oðin says in the Hávamál, you must be able to find praise and friendship within yourself.

I strongly believe that sacred oath rings are about humanely replacing the blood brother oath that involved slitting each other's wrist which could have resulted in death from blood loss. I also strongly believe that the oath rings are symbolic to an oath between Odin's wolves an oath that creates a wolf pack and a brethren or a special forces team that could have learnt from wolves to perform special tactics.
