Today, we visited the Garanhata silver market, one of India's largest silver markets. After purchasing some silver jewelry, we headed to the renowned Oriental Restaurant, one of the oldest establishments in the region. This restaurant is famous for its delectable Mughlai parathas. These parathas were incredibly delicious, without any excess oil. The meal's highlight was the potato masala, or “aloor torkari,” that accompanied the parathas. Each Mughlai paratha cost INR 70/-, and for the three of us, we ordered two plates. Additionally, we tried a fish fry and a mutton breast fry, but they didn’t quite match up to the Mughlai parathas.
