So your arm won't hurt pressing the boiled ube, use blender and it will be fine already. Then use the arm only when stirring when it's already on the stove.

My mom will grate the boiled ube instead of mashing it so that it is easier to mash and muvh smoother. Cooking it under wood fire also gives it a unique flavor
