If u read the manga u will find this all the more beautiful, u see when cabba asked what saiyan pride is vegeta hesitated and gave a vague answer, with his life on earth and his family to care for saiyan pride was something forgotten to vegeta or at the very least something he saw little merit or respect for. In the granola arc vegeta rekindles his saiyan pride, finally having a concrete answer he was asked by his student many moons ago at the hands of one of bardock a recorded flashbacks, he explains saiyan pride being the will to overcome ur obsicles no matter how impossible they seem, no matter how powerful they are or how many men stand before u, persist and win and that is what saiyan pride meant to vegeta
