I agree you do not have to text each other all the time. Because we are all busy and have to earn money. But a simple goodmorning, good night and sometimes updates about your day is fine but do not completely not talk with each other at all, its important for a couple to stay connected and communicated.

The polite thing to do is to respond to that morning text and tell her that you have a busy day ahead so she'll know it will be very slow response or she may not get response at all until evening.

I think what's wrong here is not replying atleast a "good morning" and politely telling your girlfriend/boyfriend you have a busy day ahead so you wont be able to reply fast. Just ignoring a message is rude especially if it's someone special to you.. it's sus 😆
I understand being busy but a reply only takes a few seconds, atleast reply while on your way to work or on your break time 🤷♀️ never let your significant other feel they don't deserve even just a second of your time
