I mean I use my 4070 super FE for 4k gaming and it works just fine. I rarely use dlss and get a comfortable 80-90 fps on high settings but when I do use dlss I get around 100 to 110 max.

4070 super is literally better than the 3090 which still dominates it most games

I mean, to be fair, 4k 60fps is possible with 4070S raw performance and with tweaks can go around 90-120fps especially since majority of people don't mind lowering the game quality

4070 super also can be overclocked a fair bit with most companies loading it with a massive cooler

Not everyone can afford high end pcs, so they stick with mid range pcs.
For me gaming in 1440p is great,
Its not like I don't wanna play in 4K, it's because I don't wanna spend that much money for a resolution upgrade and i'm happy with 1440p
For those who have low end pc, upgrading it with Rtx 3050 or any other entry level card is biggest upgrade on the other hand form some upgrading it to 4090 or up coming 5090 isn't enough.

Yea its mid tier this generation but in reality, the vast vast majority of gamers are still using older, slower tech.

its a mid range card. But you can see the price and the performance it got makes it a good mid range card. It above every other "mid range" title if u assumed. 4K High-Very high most of AAA games nowaday is not a normal midrange card for me.
