I was worried about it, supposedly they are dredging large sections by Mississippi because its 2 feet deep in spots.

Any kind of power winch can be used to pull off of a sand bar. Spare anchors? Pay out the main anchor onto the tender and drop it aft? Could work but def' shake hands with danger.

Oi, you probably know this but red buoys are conical and green ones arr cylindrical. Hard to spot shapes in the dark I know, but it's helped me through some sketchy runs here in Palacios TX.
