Should you share your phone password with your partner? ๐Ÿ“ฑ
Every relationship will have its own answer to that question. What matters most is how you build trust. Julie Gottman says trust isnโ€™t about snooping... itโ€™s about being open enough that you donโ€™t need to hide.

*Not all relationships are safe or healthy. Sharing passwords or private info isnโ€™t recommended if your partner is controlling, manipulative, or abusive. Trust should never come at the expense of your safety or privacy. If you're unsure, consider speaking with a trusted professional or support organization.

I 100% agree. If I have nothing to hide, and I don't, why NOT share my passwords?

I agree 100%. I have a note book with all my passwords written down. My wife knows where it is and is free to look in it at any time. We have been together 40 years and married 37.๐Ÿ˜Š

This is showcased in Eyes Wide Shut. Both main characters at first try to conceal their inner worlds and their intimacy suffers. Eventually they bare all to each other and they are rewarded with greater intimacy

To me sharing trust and emergencies is a good way for a healthy relationship while others prioritize privacy for independence and security, Open communication is key to establishing boundaries and understanding motivations..

The four horsemen just pulled up short, wondering what they just heard. โ€œshould I allow my partner to read my diary?โ€ How is that different from my phone? Where does the line of individually fall? Where do we start enmeshment?

You folks have done amazing work but this is a misstep.
