NTA the asshole but the approach was... with how uneducated she was, approaching her and calling her a dumbass wasn't the best way to go about it. OP couldn't expect to educate someone by firstly insulting them in a rude way. OP could've at least apologized for the way she went about it, but not for educating her.

Ya this girl at school got science projects shut down because she did a project over what gets rid of rabbits faster poison or traps. She full on did her project and murdered rabbits with awful poison which was slow and painful. When she got up in front of the class and gave her project the teachers jaw just dropped and walked out of class then came back with the principal kids were crying and the teacher got in trouble for not approving projects and girl got a fat F and told to go to therapy and 3 days of in school suspension. And just like that no more 6th grade science fair projects.

I listened to the whole video from part 1 to Part 2 yes I understand what a girl did was a dumbass move but he's also the a-hole as well because it's a possible way he could have handled that instead of calling her a dummy and yes I can see for her point of view for being hurt by his words because he could have handled that in a more respectful way then yes he do have to apologize to her for being disrespectful because it's not right for him to disrespect her like that calling her a dummy and then want to get mad because he got in trouble for his words yeah what she did was a dumbass move but what he did was a-hole move to it was many ways how he could have handled that instead of being rude to the girl yeah they were freshwater fish and what she thought was doing was right yes she should have studied but there's no right for you to sit up there and call her a dumbass yes I agree it was a dumbass move but he did not give him the right to go up there and be so disrespectful and rude to her and calling her a dumbass because for once at least she was trying to do the right thing even though her mind was in the right place but she did it in the wrong way and she wasn't trying to destroy the ecosystem she was just trying to save a bunch of goldfish live yes I know the goldfish is ruining ecosystem and stuff like that but there's no excuse for him being so disrespectful and rude to her and yes he should apologize because he was wrong with him for calling her dumbass so if you ask me he is a 8 out of 10 a hole and definitely should apologize to her for what he said and stop trying to get mad because it's not about being sensitive it's about him being disrespectful and hurting her feelings and I already know some of you all going to disagree with me with these comments but I'm just letting you know for my personal experience and how I watch part one and two that he was in the wrong as well that you can't treat people like these and it's my opinion and I don't care what anybody say.😒
