I briefly owned a paid off the 1st Gen AirPods Max and loved the sound and build quality (besides the silly purse/bra type case), although personally I just found them too heavy for any length of use so returned them. I also think they were a bit too big for my head as I’d feel the top inside of the ear cups resting on my eyes. So I hope the 2nd Gen are lighter and a bit smaller for those with smaller sized heads like myself.
