Wow, this is truly a shame. Something has got to be done with this. My son does travel tourism work. He is young and learning so much about life at 19. He said when in Utah, he saw the same thing in Salt Lake and in Colorado. Now he is in Hawaii on the island of Kauai and the same problem 😢

I was homeless for 5 yrs due to my alcoholism.
This looks like almost every 'tent city'
I did not have my camp near other people becuz of 'this'.
We always had a shower(4 curtains from dollar tree) $15 solar shower bag to bathe daily, a pallet to stand on while showering. I bought a 'toilet' for handicap folks at good will and dug a deep hole to get rid of waste. I tried to make the best i could out of what i had.
I hated that life and i am so grateful ti say by the Grace of God and 12 steps of AA i have been sober for 7 yrs now. I make a gratitude list every AM and i am always grateful for electric, running water, flushing toilet, heat/AC and to Be safe with a roof over my head
For those still out there, plz know life can be beautiful. ❤🙏

They're always going to live close to a populated area. If a city/state makes a village for the homeless, but there's no stores, people to mooch off of....or no transportation to get to those things....they're not going to live in that homeless village, and will find anywhere else close to town to live.

I met a beautiful girl who used to live outside of Chico, CA. She lived in a tent along a river, although, I wouldn't call her homeless, but she wasn't living in a home. Even though she lived outside in the tent, she kept her place in immaculate order, not like these people
