In case anyone is wondering, this guy may have mentioned about Ethiopia's anulled result against Botswana after the country was found guilty for fielding an ineligible player.
Apparently, when Ethiopia defeated South Africa 2-1 during the group decider game, one of the Ethiopian footballer was found to be ineligible to play with 1 game suspension. South African press had even lodged a protests to CAF, and wanted that result to be reversed as well in favour of South Africa, which would have sent the 2010 World Cup host to the third round instead of Ethiopia, but that claim was rejected officially by CAF.
Also, I still remembered how Burkina Faso were phenomenal at that time. Not only they had almost qualified for the World Cup (unlucky to lose by an away goal against Algeria), but they had also almost won the AFCON that same year.
