Yes communist always thought it as opportunity to divide America
But the true is there was a racist America privilege in the 30 40 50s
But in the same time black Americans didn’t depend on white or the system to survive
Yes there were independents
Opening businesses and hotels and never depended on the government taking fee money
I’m black from Cuba born in the 70 and I was in love with the black American culture of auto determination and civil rights fighters ( but must of them today are in government corrupted and playing the racism victims card with the party must racist ever in the world democrats )

There was a time of fighting for rights. But never was a time of be blind and be slave of a party than never did something for black Americans never the old black generation was easy to be manipulated or indoctrinated by socialist and. Communist or hustles black politicians
