Tbh, the folder thing actually is more likely to scratch the game disc. The game is safest in its box case. And what Mike did had no effect on the discs. Unlikely to even damage the game case.
I can’t say I’d dump them all out like that if I had them in a bag. But I definitely keep all my games in their original boxes.

I'll be honest...I'd be Mike. Because I like having my games safely in their cases on a shelf in the room my console would be in. (even mixing up the CDs and their cases sets me off a bit).
