USP of Shaktiman was very well outlined in the title track. Hota hai jab aadmi ko apna gyan kehlaya wo shaktiman.
So its not a powerful alien, he is not a man bitten by a bug or by any accident.
He is an ordinary person and when he finds the strength from inside, he becomes Shaktiman. Initially it was a novel concept a man with a purpose to defeat Kilvish, (who represents the dark side of human nature). It was entertaining, but spiritual and moral too. Emphasis was on Will power (ichcha shakti) and not super powers. But then got side tracked with blatant copy of Superhero comics and films.
I dont have any hope that a new Shaktiman film or series can be based on the Indian spirituality and philosophy.

Sir, with all due respect - take this pretentious, arrogant attitude down and learn some humility.
Shakitmaan was copied heavily from superman and many other places.
There was nothing creative about it.
It was hit because there was no competition. Only reason why we remember it today is nostalgia not its cinematic brilliance.
Stop hanging on to one or two hit roles from decades ago and basing your behaviour on the ego built upon that success of past.

Superman ki tarah bhi flight hota toh acha rehta. Spinning ko ek additional skull ki tarah kar sakte they. Kyunki ab movie mein bahut mushkil hoga spinning movement karwana, kahin funny na lagne lge. I am sure wo flying bhi add krenge ab.
