I think women have misinterpreted what it means to be independent. I have a good career and pay my own bills. I buy my own drinks, and I always offer to pay on a date. not so I can punk on men, but so I have security in my own life. but when my man gets home from a trip, I have a sandwich and his favorite drink ready, and dinner in the oven. it is possibly to be traditional in your relationships, but still be able to hold your own.
I date men because of their personalities and morals, not because my car about to be repo'ed.
